The shadow government organization aimed at resisting and tearing down the Constitutional Republic we know as AMERICA.

Please Share- This is not about if you love the past president or the now president please read entirely & share. This is about many of the corrupt establishment both republicans and democrats! If you think you cant read one more "political type post" - You are wrong. This is for every american that believes in the constitution: I do not understand how living in a country with its democracy established over 200 years ago, and now, for the first time in history, suddenly we have one of our former presidents set up a group called "Organizing for Action" (OFA). OFA is 30,000+ strong and working to disrupt everything that our current president’s administration is trying to do. This organization goes against our Democracy, and it is an operation that will destroy our way of governing. It goes against our Constitution, our laws, and the processes established over 200 years ago. If it is allowed to proceed then we will be living in chaos very much like third world countries are run. What good is it to have an established government if it is not going to be respected and allowed to follow our laws? If you had an army some 30,000 strong and a court system stacked over the decades with judges who would allow you to break the laws, how much damage could you do to a country? We are about to find out in America! Our ex-president said he was going to stay involved through community organizing and speak out on the issues and that appears to be one post-administration promise he intends to keep. He has moved many of his administration's top dogs over to Organizing for Action. OFA is behind the strategic and tactical implementation of the resistance to the Trump Administration that we are seeing across America, and politically active courts are providing the leverage for this revolution. OFA is dedicated to organizing communities for "progressive" change. Its issues are gun control, socialist healthcare, abortion, sexual equality, climate change, and of course, immigration reform. OFA members were propped up by the ex-president's message from the shadows: "Organizing is the building block of everything great we have accomplished Organizers around the country are fighting for change in their communities and OFA is one of the groups on the front lines. Commit to this work in 2017 and beyond." OFA's website says it obtained its "digital" assets from the ex-president's re-election effort and that he inspired the movement. In short, it is the shadow government organization aimed at resisting and tearing down the Constitutional Republic we know as AMERICA. Paul Sperry, writing for the New York Post, says, “The OFA will fight President Donald Trump at every turn of his presidency and the ex-president will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House." Sperry writes that, “The ex-president is setting up a shadow government to sabotage the Trump administration through a network of non-profits led by OFA, which is growing its war chest (more than $40 million) and has some 250 offices nationwide. The OFA IRS filings, according to Sperry, indicate that the OFA has 32,525 (and growing) volunteers nationwide. The ex-president and his wife will oversee the operation from their home/ office in Washington DC. Think about how this works.. For example: Trump issues an immigration executive order; the OFA signals for protests and statements from pro-immigrant groups; the ACLU lawyers file lawsuits in jurisdictions where activist judges obstruct the laws; volunteers are called to protest at airports and Congressional town hall meetings; the leftist media springs to action in support of these activities; the twitter sphere lights up with social media; and violence follows. All of this happens from the ex-president's signal that he is heartened by the protests. If Barack Obama did not do enough to destroy this country in the 8 years he was in office, it appears his future plans are to destroy the foundation on which this country has operated on for the last 241 years. If this does not scare you, then we are in worse trouble than you know. So, do your part. You have read it, so at least pass this on so others will know what we are up against. We are losing our country and we are so compliant. We are becoming a "PERFECT TARGET" for our enemy! Charles Krauthammer

Good Bye Beige & Good Bye Shrubs!

Shrubs gone. Tint applied to windows. Stone & tropical plants added.
The house below here is the house in Orlando FL. I've posted it here to show you the dramatic difference from beige to grey!

Grey is one of those tricky colors. The way grey reflects light at your home is different than what it looks like in the store. The top photo is a more stone like grey and the other house in Orlando has a more blue-grey appeal.

Not much more to write about grey. I will keep posting the "Drab to Fab"  for of those who enjoy seeing the hard work after pictures!

Master Bedroom: What Idea Do You Have When You Think oF a Black Bedroom?

Are You thinking too dark? That it would only be Gothic? Or even unattractive? Maybe to bold?
Certainly not in Florida! <--- I do get that last statement a lot. Although in my humble opinion I think you should design your space with things that you love!

My husband and I have a love for the color black.

Let me show you the before picture of what we had to work with. I'll be showing you the room, the motel- ish style vanity area and the bathroom off to the side.

Pretty plain.

<-Keep your eye out for the beam and this room right here was just about the deal breaker with only one vanity. It also looked like a motel room! 1990 Formica. I tried changing the pull knobs and mirror - just wasnt enough! I took craft paint sponge painted the counter and epoxyed the top to get a granite look!

<----As is counter top. Hit it with sandpaper to rough it up.

Acrylic craft paint base color grey. Let dry.

I scrunched a plastic bag in my hand and started to randomly dip in my next color (black) and patted all over my base coat. Let dry and applied my third color (white). Let it dry and follow the direction on the epoxy box and let stand for 48 hours. You could add some glitter but the very fine kind for a more natural stone effect.

This is the "header" or beam ..I had my husband add. Trying to find a way to give the room some division. Then adding mirrors to two walls was my hardest try at making this space look less like a motel.

Here's the sink with a new paint job, new faucet and knobs.

I hope you find that a black bedroom is not as scary as it sounds! Accent color can change easy with black. White furniture is trendy now and also helps lighten the room.
Full tour in video below.

How Guest Friendly is Your Guest Room?

I'll post some of the ideas I had for my guest room and see if you can spot them in the video.

Map on the wall helps guest get an idea how far other places are in case they chose to do some sight seeing. If you have brochures of places you have visited leave them in a drawer or basket for your guest to discover.
A basket of "treats" left for guest is beneficial for those late nights after everyone is asleep and your guest is hungry and wont need to rummage the cupboards.
ASHA Handicrafts Handmade 6-inch Wooden Face Eyeglass Holder (India)
Did you see me on night stand in video?

ASHA Handicrafts Handmade 6-inch Wooden Face Eyeglass Holder (India)  Bought this from Overstock.com Having glasses myself I thought this was just one of those "thought of everything" for guest items for the room.

I like to pick up trinkets or coffee mugs with a Florida theme and put in the dresser draw as a gift for my guest as a souvenir to take home.

You may have "eye spied" a green book on the night stand. That is a book on the history of Orlando. Maybe you could find a book of fun facts about your area? Some people also like to have "Guest Books" people sign in. We just don't have that many guest.

Bench is a nice place to sit down luggage on. The teal picture frame says "Wifi Password"  Today people have phones and I pads and its just a great way to share the guest password to your account. There was also a basket next to the bed for the pillows out of sight in the video. Our Closet happens to be empty they could go in there.

I also have a "sansd globe" that is full of sand and shells and works much like a snow globe so my guest can manipulate the scenery. Maybe you can put one of those challenging puzzle products in the room to entertain your guest?

Please comment your ideas! Candy on the pillow is always an option! ;)

Kitchen Upgrade 380.00 Plus Appliances!

Here's the "1990's Kitchen Picture" of the house we bought. This house was had been rented for  years and no upgrades. I can't complain. My husband and I seem to by these plain slates to upgrade! It's all about the "bones". How solid the house is.

Keep in mind I live in Florida. Maybe I should tell you, I don't go by whats trending. I go by... my passion. What I love.

I also try to create a space thats not too frilly because my husband doesnt want to feel he lives in a dollhouse/Girly.

My list of upgrades are extensive for this house. I try to be budget friendly so I can splurge on the important upgrades I see down the road. (Like an endless pool!)

This project is more for the advanced DIY person. Or you can look on youtube to research "How To"  to build your confidence. This does take some talent!

Enter my husband and his talent.

Larry, has worked as a body man for over 30 years. He spray painted  the countertops (much like how he would spray a vehicle)

Sand the countertops to rough up a bit and use a tac cloth to get up all dust. You must be careful that the AC unit or Heat unit in your home does not pull dust around in the area you are working or the paint will fish eye. Let the paint dry over night and follow direction on glaze coat. This is an epoxy type finish and its a chemical reaction that sets the surface HARD as nails! Cost 300.00

After upgrading the counter tops the next step was the peel and stick back splash from #Lowes on clearance for 7.99 a square. Total cost: 80.00

Kitchen ready for new appliances! Here is the AFTER!

Air Stone An Oxymoron Or Solution To Flipping Drab To Fab?

Here is the Fireplace. Basic, blah and yet it's the focal point of the room. The ceiling fan has been replaced, walls painted and new carpet installed and yet a fireplace that seems so out of place.

I happened on this product called "AirStone". Easy installation and beautiful results! How easy? Like spreading icing on cupcakes and cutting with a serrated knife through french bread easy! There is no pattern- just like in nature just random!

This product can be bought at #Lowes or #HomeDepot. 59.00 a box. This project took 2 boxes of stones and 1 box of stone with corner pieces. 25.00 for the adhesive.  This project was 205.00 but the results in our humble opinion gave us a 5,000 upgrade!

We still need to find the right hearth marble and get the dry wall cut to drop the wires down the wall but for today's post the "After" is what it is! ;)

Go to this link to see other projects done by real people. Learn about the different applications indoors and outdoors. This company is fabulous - Using recycled wine bottles to make these stones is an environmentally friendly product! Determine how much you need to purchase - go to website and use their calculator its very accurate!
